Kevin Snider

CEO and Founder

Coach Snider has been coaching and mentoring youth for over 20 years. He has coached teams to championships on every level.  He has helped prepare over 100 athletes go to Division I schools.  Over 90% of his clinic participants, freshman players, and sophomore players have gone on to make the varsity team at their respective high schools.  His focus continues to be FUNDAMENTALS, ONE SKILL AT A TIME.

Taylor Mason X

Director of Operations, Event Coordinator, Personal Trainer and Fundamental Specialist

Alum of Whitney Young High School and graduate of Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, Taylor Division 1 Collegiate Basketball. She comes to the NBU program to help players learn the skills and fundamentals needed to make it to the next level. She is known as the coach that "makes it happen." She helps design the clinics, camps, and leagues so that each athlete hones in on their skills while having a good time. Coach Taylor also specializes in working with athletes on their conditioning and work ethic. With a degree in Broadcast Journalism and emphasis in Theater, she knows what it takes to make the transition from the high school to college level. Daughter of Kevin Snider and sister to Gabriel Snider, she currently resides in Chicago and loves cooking and going to the beach. 

Brandon Bright

Fundamental Specialist, Club Team Coach

Coach Brandon eats, sleeps, and breathes basketball. Alum of Whitney Young High School and graduate of Milikin University, he knows what it takes to be successful both on and off of the court. With a vast knowledge of the game, he is able to teach young ball players what they need to know in order to be the best that they can be. His strong court awareness and point guard skill gives him the ability to pass it on to every player that comes through the doors of NBU. Under Brandon's direction, not only will you be a better basketball player, but you will become a smarter player too.

Laird Walker

Fundamental Specialist Assistant

Alum of Whitney Young High School, Class of 2004. Laird played for Whitney Young under Coach Ronald Branch and is able to bring that knowledge to NBU. A 6'4 guard, he is able to teach our athletes how to get to the rim and score.
