"Sklls R4 Real" Elite Training Camp

The SKLLS R4 REAL” TRAINING is a unique basketball experience offering athletes unmatched basketball skills training from highly qualified athletic trainers, with an infectious passion and heart to help athletes improve their fundamentals! The tremendous combination of AJ Rompza, Tristan Jass, and Rick Lewis will provide a passionate but explosive combination of gritty skills, drills and fundamentals training for each of the athletes! Each participant will receive a reversible practice jersey and lunch will be served.

WHEN AND WHERE IS THE SKLLS R4 REAL” TRAINING TAKING PLACE?

The CSO Multiplex - 1301 E. 47th Street Chicago, Illinois, 60653. The CSO is a newly designed and conveniently located 80,000 square foot facility with 3 full size regulation high school courts and one NBA regulation court.

 

WHO SHOULD ATTEND? (AGE, GENDER, SKILL LEVEL)

The camp is open to boys and girls of any skill level ages 10 -18.

 

WHAT IS THE FEE FOR ATTENDING THE SKLLS R4 REAL” CAMP?

The “Skills R4 Real”camp is $225 for the morning session (8:00am to 12:00pm) and $125 for the “Shooting and Ball Handling” afternoon session (1:00pm to 3:00pm),  for a total of $325 for the day. The fee includes all training experiences, a reversible practice jersey and lunch (full day campers only). Once you have registered, there are no further costs and athletes will not need to carry any money with them to the camp.

 

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO THE SKLLS R4 REAL” CAMP?

Athletes should wear basketball shoes and comfortable athletic wear that will allow for physical activity. They will be given a reversible practice jersey upon check-in and will not need to bring anything else with them to camp. Valuables should be left at home as the CSO nor NBU Athletics is responsible for any lost or stolen items. 

 

WILL FOOD BE PROVIDED? WHAT IF I HAVE SPECIAL DIETARY NEEDS?

A meal will be provided during the lunch period for athletes attending both the morning and afternoon sessions. If an athlete has any special dietary requirements or needs, they should arrange for their own sack lunch and bring it with them to the camp.

 

WHO ARE THE COACHES? 

Basketball programming and instruction for the camp will be led by coach/trainer AJ Rompza, Tristan Jass and Rick Lewis who have a combined experience of over 50 years of playing, coaching and teaching the game of the basketball!

 

WILL THE CAMP BE DIVIDED BY AGE AND SKILL LEVEL?

Athletes will be separated into groups according to skill level by  the “Skills R4 Real” coaches to ensure an optimal playing experience for each individual.

 

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I REGISTER?

Registration is a two-part process. First, you will complete the registration process for the camp and complete the payment for the camp. After you have registered and made your payment, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive the confirmation email or have any questions please reach out to us at nbucentral@nbuathletics.com.

 

CAN I CANCEL MY REGISTRATION?

Once you register, we hope that your athlete can attend. Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer refunds after purchase.

 

WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP?

Parents and guardians may drop off their athletes at the beginning of camp to enter the gym and pick them up upon the conclusion of camp. At the end of the camp day and for safety precautions, parents/guardians are required to come in to the gym to pick up their athleteWe do not allow athletes to leave out of the gym unescorted or wait curbside for pick up.The camp will not be able to accommodate early or late pick-ups or drop-offs.

 

MY CHILD HAS ASTHMA/ALLERGIES OR OTHER MEDICAL CONDITIONS. WHO WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS/HER MEDICATION THROUGHOUT THE CAMP?

If an athlete requires medication, a parent or guardian must be present to administer it.The Skill 4 Real staff will not be able to facilitate the administration of medications.
